Lesson Schedule
Our school year consists of 40 weeks of instruction from September and through June as well as summer. To make tuition simple and predictable for families, the total annual cost is divided into equal monthly payments, regardless of how many class weeks fall within a particular month.
We’re happy to offer sibling discounts to support families with more than one student enrolled. We work with you and our teachers to find a time that works for everyone. Classes pause for major holidays and school breaks, including Thanksgiving, winter break, and spring break. A full calendar with exact dates is provided at the start of the year.

End-of-Year Goals
Throughout the year, students at Nuance Music Studio work toward customized, meaningful milestones that reflect progress in technique, musicality, and confidence. Goals are thoughtfully integrated into lessons, align with our mission to inspire and support learners at every level, and build motivation for students and families alike.
Perform in a Recital
Showcase progress in front of an audience! Whether students play solo or collaborate in ensembles, recitals provide a tangible achievement and performance experience.
Participate in at Least 2 Studio Events or Activities
Engage in creative, musical experiences beyond lessons. Masterclasses, festivals, outreach performances, and collaborative group workshops broaden exposure and enrich learning.
Complete a Personal Growth Project
Choose an area to explore deeply. This might be composing a short piece, learning improvisation, mastering a challenging technique, or discovering new repertoire that stretches comfort zones.
Why These Goals Matter
Setting these milestones offers a clear roadmap, and feelings of progress boost musical confidence, while structured challenges promote discipline. The focus isn't just on playing an instrument; it’s on becoming a learner, collaborator, and expressive musician. Achieving these goals is cause for celebration, and we honor both what each student has mastered and how they've grown as a musician.
"My son's teacher is both supportive and challenging in the best way. He sees potential in his students and pushes them to reach it, always with kindness and encouragement. His teaching is filled with practical advice and insightful techniques that have genuinely helped him grow as a pianist."
